Overland University students agree: a top-tier education from OU must include coursework from Professor Graham. A published author, Professor Graham fascinates and educates his students. His instruction on "reducing the backup window" focuses on assessing business goals and service level agreements, establishing benchmarks, optimizing backup performance and projecting storage growth. Professor Graham developed his expertise in Data Protection at Overland Storage where he manages the award-winning REO SERIES product family. He has devoted the past decade to the development of storage and security software and hardware solutions. He has a BSEE from the University of Michigan and an MBA from the University of San Diego.

Professor WiseProfessor Wise
Professor Wise’s philosophy on Improving Recovery Speed makes him a popular professor. He reminds his students daily: "nobody likes waiting, especially when it costs your business thousands, even millions of dollars. Collateral damage from lack of recovery speed could, ultimately, include the need to update your resume." His auditorium lectures are filled as he coaches students on minimizing the cost of downtime, providing measurable and achievable service level agreements and maximizing the bottom line. Professor Wise offers expertise in online/nearline data protection and data mobility. He holds a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science from the University of Iowa, and numerous certifications within Product, Project and Marketing Management, Operating Systems, Storage Networking, Software and Hardware.

Professor DaviesProfessor Davies
Professor Davies is Overland University’s most thoughtful professor, and has the longest running tenure at the University. His students see him as the resident technical guru and seek him out, particularly for his wisdom regarding Optimizing Data Retention. Professor Davies realizes that Data Retention has become a primary function for IT managers. As a result, he created a curriculum that is part art, part science, part legal wrangling. With more than 30 years of data storage experience, he has managed professional services organizations, systems application engineering teams, pre- and post-sales support teams, and technical support. Prior to his tenure at OU, Professor Davies was Principal Applications Engineer at Cipher Data Products. He was also a key contributor and technical editor of the original SCSI Interface Standard for Tape and Library Devices.

Professor GroverProfessor Grover
Professor Grover’s students often refer to her as the Dalai Lama of disaster recovery. A fervent scholar of DR for many years, she continues to be the "go-to" expert on how to create affordable and viable disaster recovery plans. Her curriculum includes knowledge from bona fide disasters and human-error experiences. The cornerstone of Professor Grover’s philosophy on DR includes an emphasis on off-site data and encryption. More than a mere intellectual, she has more than 15 years of hands-on experience in the data storage industry. Prior to joining Overland University, Professor Grover was with Exabyte Corporation, where she was responsible for managing their tape automation lines. She holds a BA in Business Administration from Colorado State University.
