Eric Kelly has served as Overland's CEO since January 2009 and as a Board member since 2007. Previously, he was president of Silicon Valley Management Partners Inc., a management consulting and M&A advisory firm, which he co-founded in 2007. Mr. Kelly spent nearly 30 years in computer technology developing distinct operational, marketing and sales expertise. His most recent corporate position was vice president and general manager of storage systems solutions at Adaptec, Inc. Prior to that, he served as president and CEO of Snap Appliance, which was acquired by Adaptec. Two years earlier, Kelly engineered the purchase of Snap from Quantum Corp., having recognized the inherent value in Snap, where the main product he drove became the volume market leader in Network Attached Storage (NAS) appliances. His previous corporate affiliations include Maxtor Corp., Dell Computer Corp., Diamond Multimedia, Conner Peripherals and IBM. Mr. Kelly earned an M.B.A. from San Francisco State University and a B.S. in Business from San Jose State University.
Kurt L. Kalbfleisch
Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer
Kurt L. Kalbfleisch currently serves as chief financial officer and vice president of finance at Overland. Kurt joined Overland in December 1993 and since then has served in several key management roles in cost accounting and finance. Prior to joining Overland, he worked as a manufacturing budget analyst for McDonnell Douglas Corporation, a major aerospace manufacturer and defense contractor. Kurt received his MBA from the University of San Diego and a B.A. in Business Administration from Point Loma Nazarene University in San Diego.
Jillian Mansolf
Senior Vice President of Global Sales and Marketing
Jillian Mansolf is Senior Vice President, Worldwide Sales and Marketing at Overland Storage. Jillian is responsible for the ongoing development and execution of Overland’s global channel programs and go-to-market strategies, corporate and marketing communications and product marketing. She launched FastTrack, which has become the model for managing all of Overland’s global channel partners. In 2011 and 2012 Jillian was named Channel Chief by CRN Magazine, and recognized as one of the most influential executives in the channel. In 2010 she was acknowledged as a Top Woman in the Channel by CRN and was inducted into The Power 100 in 2011, which recognizes the 100 most powerful women executives in the Channel. In addition, she also manages Overland’s worldwide field and application engineering teams.
Previously Jillian was Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales and Marketing for Drobo, where she was responsible for building the worldwide sales and distribution channels, as well as overseeing all marketing and branding activities. She also served as Vice President of Worldwide Marketing and Product Management at Motion Computing and Area Vice President at Dell Computer Corporation where she managed a $400M business and helped grow the Large Corporate Accounts revenue to over $2B annually. Other executive tenures include Vice President of Worldwide Sales and Marketing for the Network Storage Division at Maxtor Corporation, and Snap Appliance where she was a cofounder and a member of the executive team in charge of the sale of the business to Adaptec in 2004.
Randy Gast
Senior Vice President of Strategic Alliances and Client Services
Randy Gast joins Overland Storage as Senior Vice President of Strategic Alliances and Client Services. He is responsible for the Company's worldwide customer support organization and strategic partnerships. Prior to joining Overland, Randy previously served as vice president of worldwidesupply chain and logistics at Hewlett Packard where he was responsible for a $2 billion operation. Randy also held the title of vice president of global operations and facility security officer (FSO) at 3PAR. Previous tenures also include serving as global vice president of operations at Adaptec and at Snap Appliance. In addition, Randy served at Maxtor Corporation as vice president of operations for the network storage division. He received his BS Engineering degree with honors from Arizona State University.
Martin Lynch
Vice President of Operations
Martin Lynch joins Overland Storage as vice president of operations. Previously he served as executive vice president of operations for 2Wire, Inc., where he built the company’s operations department from the ground up. In this role, Martin was responsible for the company’s worldwide supply chain, manufacturing, business operations and end-to-end product life cycle as well as new product introduction. Prior to that, Martin held several executive operations and engineering roles at enterprise and consumer technology companies, including Cornice Inc., Maxtor Corporation, Coulter Corporation and others. Martin received a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from Boston University and holds several patents in disk drive channel optimization code.
Trevor Heathorn
Vice President of Engineering
Trevor Heathorn is responsible for driving Overland Storage’s product development including engineering, research and development across all divisions. With over 25 years of experience in managing and developing complex software products, Trevor brings a proven ability to understand all aspects of software development including marketing, design and customer support. Prior to joining Overland Storage, Trevor served as Director of Software Development for MaxiScale where he was responsible for managing the delivery of file server and clustering management software for scalable Web storage platforms. He has also served as Director of Software Engineering at BlueArc where he managed the US software team for BlueArc’s high performance NAS servers that was responsible for the development of High Availability clustering. Other executive level positions include Vice President of Software Development at Quantum for the Network Attached Storage Division and Vice President of Software Development for Meridian Data. Trevor received his MA in Engineering and diploma in Computer Science from Cambridge University in England.
