- Robert A. Degan
- Mr. Degan has served as a Board member since 2000 and has been a private investor since January 2000. From November 1998 to December 1999, Mr. Degan served as General Manager of the Enhanced Services & Migration Business Unit (formerly, Summa Four, Inc.) of Cisco Systems, Inc., an Internet networking company. From July 1998 to November 1998, Mr. Degan was Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of Summa Four, Inc., and from January 1997 to July 1998 he served as its President and Chief Executive Officer and as a director. From August 1996 to December 1996, Mr. Degan served as an Executive Vice President of Sync Research Inc., a leading provider of wide area network access and management solutions. From 1991 to 1996, Mr. Degan was the President, Chief Executive Officer and a director of Tylink Corporation, a data communications company. Mr. Degan is also a director of FlexiInternational Software, Inc., a financial accounting software company, Gensym Corporation, an expert system software company, and CaminoSoft Corp., an information storage company. Mr. Degan was formerly on the research staff at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
- Nora M. Denzel
- Nora Denzel has served as a Board member since 2007 and is currently the Senior Vice President of payroll services at Intuit, Inc. Prior to Intuit, she has held several executive level positions in technology including acting as an advisor to technology companies and a senior vice president at Hewlett Packard heading various divisions including storage, software and consulting. Prior to HP, she played a strategic role in the growth of Legato Systems while serving as senior vice president of product operations. Her initial corporate experiences were at IBM, where she began her career as a software engineer and then served in several marketing, engineering, and executive level positions, including the business line manager of IBM's portfolio of storage management software products. Denzel has been named one of the most powerful people in computer networking by Network World and one of the top 20 movers and shakers in the storage industry by Storage Magazine. She holds an M.B.A. from Santa Clara University and a B.S. in Computer Science from the State University of New York.
- Eric L. Kelly
- Eric Kelly has served as Overland's CEO since January 2009 and as a Board member since 2007. Previously, he was president of Silicon Valley Management Partners Inc., a management consulting and M&A advisory firm, which he co-founded in 2007. Mr. Kelly spent nearly 30 years in computer technology developing distinct operational, marketing and sales expertise. His most recent corporate position was vice president and general manager of storage systems solutions at Adaptec, Inc. Prior to that, he served as president and CEO of Snap Appliance, which was acquired by Adaptec. Two years earlier, Kelly engineered the purchase of Snap from Quantum Corp., having recognized the inherent value in Snap, where the main product he drove became the volume market leader in Network Attached Storage (NAS) appliances. His previous corporate affiliations include Maxtor Corp., Dell Computer Corp., Diamond Multimedia, Conner Peripherals and IBM. Mr. Kelly earned an M.B.A. from San Francisco State University and a B.S. in Business from San Jose State University.
- Scott McClendon
- Mr. McClendon has been the Chairman of the Board for Overland Storage since 2001. He also served as Overland's interim CEO from November 2006 to August 2007 and its President and CEO from October 1991 to March 2001, and was an officer and employee until June 2001. Prior to his tenure with Overland, he was employed by Hewlett Packard Company, a global manufacturer of computing, communications and measurement products and services, for over 32 years in various positions in engineering, manufacturing, sales and marketing. He last served as the General Manager of the San Diego Technical Graphics Division and Site Manager of Hewlett Packard in San Diego, California. Mr. McClendon is a director of SpaceDev, Inc., an aerospace development company, and Procera Networks, Inc., a content management company.
- Michael Norkus
- Mr. Norkus has served as a Board member since 2004 and is the founder and president of Alliance Consulting Group, a strategy consulting firm based in Cambridge, Massachusetts. In 1975, he joined the Boston Consulting Group (BCG) where he spent 11 years and was a founding member of the firm's Munich office. In 1986, he left BCG to start the Alliance Consulting Group. Mr. Norkus is also a director of ACCO Brands Corporation, a worldwide supplier of office products and Genesee & Wyoming Inc., an owner and operator of short line and regional railroads.
